Founded by the Teutonic Knights, same as Sibiu, Brasov become one of the “7 fortified cities” in Transylvania (Siebenburgen). Brasov is currently one of the most visited cities, thanks to its historical, geographical and cultural importance.

Tour description
Group meeting with the guide at hotel. Program presentation.In the first part of the day we will have a guided walk tour of the city, before heading to Sinaia - the most important mountain resort. Its name is related to Mount Sinai: prince Cantacuzino, after a visit tot Santa Catalina Monastery on Mount Sinai, decided to build a similar monastery here. The entire resort took the name of the monastery - Sinaia.
Still in Sinaia we will visit Peles Castle - a German architectural castle built as residential house by King Carol of Romania.
We will also pass other resorts: Predeal, Busteni and Azuga. In Azuga we will visit Rhein winery and have a wine tasting ans the lunch.
After lunch we are heading to Bran Castle. This building become worldwide known after it was mentioned by Bram Stoker in his novel Dracula.
In the evening we are going back to Brasov, not before to visit another resort - Poiana Brasov, where we can admire the city of Brasov from above.
