Tour description
Group meeting with the guide at the hotel.Tour presentation. In the morning we are visiting the open air Ethnographic Museum in Sibiu - the largest in Romania. Before lunch we are going to Biertan for visiting a touristic objective included in UNESCO world heritage - the fortified church. Medieval lunch in Biertan, near the fortified church.
After lunch we are visiting Sighisoara medieval citadel, also included on UNESCO world heritage. For three hours we will visit the citadel, including Clock Tower, the Weapon Museum, the Torture Chamber, the wooden stairs and the birth place of Vlad the Impaler.
Back to Sibiu, we will pass other objectives:
- Dealu Frumos - the geographical center of the country
- The Armenian Cathedral in Dumbraveni
- Medias – another city listed among the most important 7 fortified cities in Transylvania (“Siebenburgen”)
